Susheel Kumar Kodali, MD
Interventional Cardiologist
Susheel K. Kodali, MD is the director of the Structural Heart and Valve Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Kodali is also the director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program and an associate professor in medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Board-certified in interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Kodali specializes in the percutaneous treatment of coronary artery and structural heart disease, and cardiac catheterization.
Dr. Kodali was named New York Metro Area’s Top Doctor 2016-2021 by Castle Connolly's Top Doctors™ and New York Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2012-2017, 2020-2021. Dr. Kodali serves as the institutional co-investigator of the PARTNER trials and associated registries and is a member of the PARTNER trial steering committee.
Dr. Kodali attended medical school at The University of California, Los Angeles. He did his residency and a fellowship program in clinical cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship program in interventional cardiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Mahesh Vasantha Madhavan, MD

Mahesh V. Madhavan, MD, MS, is an interventional cardiologist with over six years of experience in adult cardiology, including coronary artery and valvular heart disease, pulmonary embolism, and congestive heart failure.
Board-certified in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, and echocardiography, Dr. Madhavan has expertise in complex coronary procedures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), percutaneous mitral valve repair (e.g. MitraClip procedure), left atrial appendage occlusion (e.g. Watchman procedure), patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closure, and transcatheter treatments for pulmonary embolism.
Dr. Madhavan is a full-time faculty member, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center and affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He holds an appointment in the Columbia Structural Heart and Valve Center. Dr. Madhavan is also a faculty member at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation and plays an active role in helping design and undertake clinical trials in the space of interventional cardiology.

Luigi Pirelli, MD earned his medical degree from the University of Milan, Italy. He completed his cardiac surgery training at the University of Milan and New York University. Dr. Pirelli's expertise include transcatheter valve therapies and surgical valve repairs. Dr. Pirelli is a faculty member and assistant professor of surgery at Columbia University.

A native of Long Island, NY, Marco A. Veintimilla Jr. graduated from Marist College with a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and eventually led him to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Marco’s interest in the cardiovascular system led to a 10-year career as a Physician Assistant at New York Presbyterian, Columbia's Interventional Cardiovascular Care team. While there he worked in the cardiac catheterization lab as well as the inpatient cardiology floor. He worked side by side with interdisciplinary teams including the Heart Valve Center, where he would help manage an array of different cardiovascular diseases. Beside his everyday tasks he took on many different leadership roles and participated in their Physician Assistant Clinical Ladder Program with his main project focusing on reducing post cardiac catheterization bleeding.

Adam completed his PA Surgical Residency Program at Norwalk Hospital / Yale University School of Medicine. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University. He is a board certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
