Patient Experience Fund at Garnet Health Foundation - Catskills
We promote healing by providing needed material support to patients and their families. Our guiding principles are: compassion, dignity, and respect.
Since 2023, the Patient Experience Fund has provided:
- Sweatpants and sweatshirts for patients being discharged
- Meals for guardians of patients
- Newborn clothing and blankets
- Transportation assistance
- Replacement of all mattresses and pumps
- Purchase of patient hearing aid batteries
- Updated Critical Care Unit blinds
- And more!
The Patient Experience program is creating a sustainable fund to help patients and their families with basic needs at a vulnerable time. This fund intends to reduce the stress related to basic needs, thus contributing to their overall healing and wellness.
