Garnet Health Medical Center, formerly known as Orange Regional Medical Center, is pleased to announce David Gao MBA, PharmD as Pharmacy 340B Program Manager. Garnet Health Medical Center implemented the 340B Program in 2021. It was created by Congress to allow qualified providers and their outpatient facilities to purchase outpatient drugs from manufacturers at discount prices which helps uninsured and low-income patients gain access to needed medication.

Prior to joining Garnet Health Medical Center, Dr. Gao worked at NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and has extensive experience in the areas of sterile compounding and chemotherapeutic regimens. He has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy, a Master of Business Administration degree from SUNY Oswego and is pursuing a Master of Health Informatics degree from Rutgers University.
