Catskill Regional Medical Group announces its newest facility, located at 1522 State Route 17B in White Lake, New York.
Catskill Regional Medical Group – Bethel, is the fifth location for Catskill Regional Medical Group with existing offices in Harris, Livingston Manor, Monticello and Callicoon. Catskill Regional Medical Group has added Dr. Imran Ahmed and his staff from Bethel Medical Family Practice, P.C. to form the new office: “Catskill Regional Medical Group – Bethel”.
“With this newest location, Catskill Regional Medical Group is expanding access to quality medical care to our Sullivan County community,” said Dr. Gerard Galarneau, President of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group (parent of Catskill Regional Medical Group). “We are committed to delivering patient-focused care for a healthier community.”
Imran Ahmed MD, FAAFP, MPH is an established Family Practice physician with over 30 years of medical experience. He has been caring for the patients in our county for over 20 years at Bethel Family Medical Practice and is now an important addition to Catskill Regional Medical Group.

Dr. Ahmed serves patients of all ages, both in the office and at the Hospital. As a member of the Medical Staff at Catskill Regional Medical Center since 1993, he has served as the Chair of the Credential Committee and Vice President of the Medical Staff. He is currently a Member of the Medical Executive Committee and a Member of the Utilization Management Committee.
Catskill Regional Medical Group – Bethel is comprised of seven medical professionals including Dr. Ahmed and Brynn McKeon, PA-C. They provide services at the office on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For an appointment call (845) 583-5620
Dr. Ahmed obtained his medical degree from Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, in Pakistan. He completed his internship in surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital, Stony Brook, NY and finished his Family Practice Residency at St. Joseph Medical Center, Stamford, CT. Additionally, he received a Master of Public Health degree from New York Medical College, in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Ahmed was named Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, in NY. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of American Academy of Family Physicians.
Ms. McKeon is a Sullivan County native who studied at Elmira College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Psychology in 2014. She received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in 2016. She was licensed by the New York State Education Department to practice as a Physician Assistant in 2016 and obtained certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
