Pediatric Care at Garnet Health
Good health during childhood sets the stage for healthy adulthood. To nurture your child’s lifelong health, it is essential to find a dedicated provider who goes beyond offering medical and lifestyle advice and takes the time to get to know your family.
Garnet Health’s family medicine team is dedicated to helping your child maintain excellent health through annual well-child visits, vaccinations and when needed, referrals to specialized care. If your child needs advanced treatment, you can rest assured knowing that we will support you with referrals to, and follow up on, specialty care.
Outpatient Pediatric Services We Offer
Our team offers healthcare for children of all ages, from birth through age 18 and beyond, including:
- Well-child visits – A provider will track development and growth, as well as offer guidance related to diet, exercise, sleep, and other habits. These visits also allow us to offer immunizations. In addition, standard pediatric screenings and any appropriate laboratory testing help ensure your child meeting all the recommended medical and growth milestones.
- Chronic condition management – If your child has a chronic condition, such as asthma, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), we can help you and your child manage the condition or provide the appropriate referrals to support the best possible quality of life.
- Sick-child visits – When your child is not feeling well, our providers can diagnose the condition and offer a detailed treatment plan to help your child get better. In-person visits with your primary provider are ideal for sick visits and same-day appointments can be scheduled by calling 845-333-7575. We can also initiate care in our Urgent Care locations, or via telehealth, and once you have established care, there is someone on call for emergencies when the office is closed.
- School and sports physicals – If your young athlete is planning to take to the field, court or rink, our team can conduct physicals to ensure it is safe to participate. Physicals will include a family history as well as lab tests.
