ORMC staff and clinicians supported the battle against addiction today – International Overdose Awareness Day – by attending the film “Reversing The Stigma.” The film was hosted, along with a question and answer session, by Community Health Program Coordinator Andrew Oni.

The film, which runs for an hour, is a documentary produced by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS) that addresses awareness, education and action currently being taken to help combat and eliminate addiction.

Narrated by acclaimed television journalist, Laurie Dhue, viewers are introduced to various individuals who share their stories and experiences within their journey to recovery. We encourage you to watch the full film below:
