Remarkable Dedication at the Emergency Room in Harris, NY
June 25, 2021Categories: Patient Stories, Emergency Medicine
We are often very quick to write a letter when we are not happy with someone's service. Unfortunately, we are not as quick to write letters expressing our delight at the manner by which we have been dealt with.
The purpose of this letter is the latter. I unfortunately had to bring my wife to the emergency room of the Harris facility on Friday evening, June 4, 2021.
Among the people with whom we dealt, I would like to especially recognize a nurse by the name of Marissa and a wonderful doctor by the name of Robert Lee Hill.
Their approach and dedication was remarkable and way more than what would be expected in that setting. Marissa should be complimented for her attention to detail, her kind attitude, her openness in discussing all aspects of the treatments, and she just made what otherwi.se was a stressful situation much more easy to bear.
Dr. Hill is in a class by himself. His demeanor, his calmness, and his explanation, as well as the time that he took to ensure that we were knowledgeable about what was happening, is also truly commendable.
Please be kind enough to notify these two individuals that we did recognize their beyond the call of duty performances.
They really made the experience much more palatable than we ever expected.
They were thorough, professional, kind, and of course extremely important is the fact that they were very caring.
Sincerely,
Henri Shawn
