Orange Regional Medical Center Names Brian Tew As New Ceo

Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Tew as the new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Tew has a strong and accomplished leadership history with the Greater Hudson Valley Health System, comprised of Catskill Regional Medical Center and Orange Regional Medical Center. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Tew held the position of Chief Innovation Officer and Vice President of Professional Services.
Mr. Tew is a strategic and data-driven leader with 22 years of healthcare experience in Information Technology, Innovation, and hospital operations. He brings a track record of building relationships and partnering with stakeholders in pursuit of meeting the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Mr. Tew has been instrumental in standardizing systems and programs across the Greater Hudson Valley Health System. Under his leadership, Orange Regional Medical Center became the first hospital in New York to achieve both HIMSS Stage 7 and HealthCare’s Most Wired status.

Mr. Tew is pursuing his doctorate degree in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Alabama Birmingham. He has earned his Master of Arts degree from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond. Mr. Tew is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Tew and his wife Cheri live in Chester and have four children.
Former Orange Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer, Scott Batulis, will remain as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System.
