Understanding Arthritis, Treatment Options and Hip & Knee Replacement Surgery
Orange Regional Medical Center will host a free, informational Arthritis seminar called “Creak, Crackle, Pop! Understanding Arthritis, Treatment Options, and Hip & Knee Replacement Surgery.” The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.in the Orange Regional Medical Center Conference Center located on the ground floor at 707 East Main Street, Middletown, NY 10940.
This free educational seminar will define what Arthritis is; who is affected by it; how it impacts people’s daily lives; how is it diagnosed; treatment methods; when you need surgery; what to expect from therapy after surgery and more. The seminar will be presented by Kevin Trapp, MD, Vice-Chairman of Orthopedics and Medical Director of the Bone & Joint Center at Orange Regional Medical Center.
A specialist in reconstructive surgery, Dr. Trapp attended Weill Medical College of Cornell University and completed an internship in General Surgery and an Orthopedic Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Trapp completed a Fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and has specialized training in joint replacement, including revision of the hip and knee. For the past eight years, he has been selected by his peers and other physicians as one of the Top Doctors in the Hudson Valley as published in Hudson Valley Magazine.
