We all know that going back to school  will be different this year, but no matter whether you’re distance-learning from home or heading back to the classroom, ensuring your immunizations are up to date is more important than ever!

In the midst of staying safe and healthy during these trying times, getting your flu shot is yet another measure you can take to do your part and keep yourself and loved ones protected.

As we enter into September, flu shots are officially rolling out at locations near you! Getting your flu shot earlier rather than later is your best bet to ensure availability and get yourself vaccinated as soon as possible. For younger children who require an annual physical, it’s easy and efficient  to schedule their visit during this time of year and request the flu shot directly from your physician.

Getting sick can take a toll on not only you, but on those around you within your family, work or community. Whether that means missing work to help stop the spread, or caring for a child under the weather, it is easier to tackle health issues by being proactive rather than reactive. That includes making sure you are up to date with all of the necessary vaccinations and healthcare appointments!

If it’s time to get your yearly check-up, flu shot, or if you have any other health concern, Garnet Health Doctors is here to help. With eight locations and convenient hours, our skilled, compassionate team will partner with you to keep you safe and well-cared for.

Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth visits are also available. Telehealth is an easy, convenient way to talk to a doctor via a phone call or live video. This means you don’t have to leave your home – and that you can receive care from anywhere. Most insurance plans cover Telehealth, so don’t delay your medical needs or ignore symptoms that you would typically visit or call your doctor about.

To set up a Telehealth or in-person appointment, call (845) 333-7575.
