Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills, formerly Catskill Regional Medical Center, is pleased to announce Keri Mele, RN, BSN, RAC-CT will serve as Swing Bed Program Manager at the Callicoon campus, and Lyn Wessels, BSN, RN, ACM will serve as Case Management Director for Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills.

Mele has over a decade of experience in various roles at skilled nursing facilities. Most recently, she served as the Director of MDS at the Bon Secours Schervier Pavilion. She graduated from County College of Morris with an associate degree and in 2021 earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Mele is also a certified Resident Assessment Coordinator with the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing.

Wessels brings an extensive background in nursing and healthcare to her new role. She has been a registered nurse for more than 35 years, providing hospice and chemotherapy care to patients. Wessels then shifted to Case Management, a field in which she has worked for over 20 years.

She is a graduate of American International College, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Wessels is certified with the American Case Management Association.
