About this event

This 2.5 hour childbirth class is to help expectant parents be better prepared for their hospital experience and the birth of their little one. This event is for parents who wish to visit in-person.

(Note: There is also an online version of this class available).

A tour of the Rowley Family Birthing Center is included for in-person attendees, and will be done at the completion of the class.

The class will discuss:

A review of labor and birth, including all hospital procedures, pain-relief options, stages of labor, medical interventions and more.
Tips for comfortable labor positions, including use of yoga positioning and relaxation techniques.
Newborn- and postpartum-care information.

The class will be hosted by Stephanie Sosnowski, BS, IBCLC, ICCE, Lactation Consultant & Childbirth Educator at Garnet Health Medical Center.
