The Garnet Health Bariatric Surgery Support Group is for both pre and post-op bariatric patients and is open to the general public. Our presenters consist of plastic surgeons, certified fitness instructors, nutritionists etc.

Support groups are held in a safe atmosphere to share any individual issues or concerns regarding weight, diet, and exercise. Participating in support groups enables you to stay highly motivated through sharing and supporting information from your peers. All support groups are facilitated by Garnet Health Medical Center Bariatric Surgery Program Manager. There will be time during the support group to ask questions. Due to the size of the support group meeting, non-English speaking participants are asked to bring their own interpreters.
