Through fundraising, the Patient Experience committee is creating a sustainable fund to help patients and their families at a vulnerable time.
Patient Experience Fund
Mission: We promote healing by providing needed material support to patients and their families. Our guiding principles are: compassion, dignity, and respect.
Since November 2019, the Patient Experience Committee has provided:
- Rides home for patients from the hospital
- Oxygen for patients at home
- Meals for guardians of patients
- Cafeteria gift cards for patient family members
- Sweatpants and sweatshirts for patients being discharged
- At home pulmonary rehab
- Walker for a patient
- Diabetes medication for a patient
- Bus travel home for an out of state patient
- Hotel stay with food for family of a patient
Through fundraising, the Patient Experience committee is creating a sustainable fund to help patients and their families at a vulnerable time. This fund intends to reduce the stress related to basic needs thus contributing to their overall healing and wellness.
